The North Tahoe Community Alliance Sponsorship and Multi-Year Investment program supports priority projects, programs, services, or maintenance activities that require annual financial support to achieve success and realize community goals over three years (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2026). Available funding sources include Transient Occupancy Tax and assessments from the NLT-TBID.

The Sponsorship and Multi-year investment program received nearly 40 applications for funding from various organizations whose projects range from robotic litter retrieval to multi-use trails and pathways to using drones to collect information on invasive species. These projects align with our mission to achieve economic health, community vitality, and environmental stewardship.
In August, a joint TOT/TBID/Zone 1/CAP committee meeting was open to the public to discuss prioritization and funding of the projects. Recommended projects went to the NTCA Board of Directors for approval on September 6, 2023.
