- Provides public access to real-time conditions and water quality at Lake Tahoe along the Placer County shoreline.
- Repairs and upgrades two nearshore, real-time monitoring stations to gather temperature, wave height, and water quality data at Obexers and Tahoe City marinas.
- Enhances the Lake Conditions webpage on the UC Davis TERC website to make it easier to use on mobile devices, helping residents and visitors easily plan a safe day on the lake.
- Combines data from nearshore stations with weather forecasts and real-time air quality data to provide residents and visitors with key information in one place.
