The Scotty Lapp Memorial Skatepark is a modern public skatepark in the heart of downtown Tahoe City, designed as a welcoming year-round community space.

  • Built by the Scotty Lapp Foundation to honor Scotty’s dream of a safe, inclusive place for creativity, confidence and self-expression.
  • A 10,000 square foot concrete skatepark designed for all ages and skill levels, from first timers to advanced riders.
  • A free, accessible outdoor recreation space that supports youth mental health, builds community and activates the town center for residents and visitors.
  • The grant-funded project is currently in development, with construction targeted and opening anticipated in late 2026.
