Recent Updates:
The Tahoe Housing Hub’s ADU Accelerator program officially launched in the Fall of 2024 and has already received 19 completed applications for review/screening. Additionally, 13 intake calls to assess homeowner readiness and discuss site feasibility have been completed, and a partnership with an independent loan broker has been established to assist homeowners with ADU financing options and assessment of financial capacity.
The program has been nominated by the nonprofit Ivory Innovations for the 2025 Ivory Prize for Housing Affordability. The annual award recognizes “ambitious, feasible, and scalable solutions to housing affordability” and awards a total of $300,000 to winners across Ivory Innovations’ three areas of focus.
