Trails

Because of the TBID $13.8 million in tourism revenue helped build:

  • 2 miles of new, progressive single track from Antone Meadows to the Tahoe Rim Trail
  • 2.2 miles of reconstructed paved trail from Tahoe City to Dollar Point
  • 2.35 miles of paved trail under reconstruction from Sunnyside to Idlewild Way along the West Shore
  • A paved trail between Tahoe City and Kings Beach is underway

The TOT-TBID Dollars At Work program supports the construction and maintenance of paved and dirt trails within the North Lake Tahoe trail transit corridor. Trails that connect communities throughout North Lake Tahoe make it possible for residents, visitors and our local workforce to get to work, recreation areas, shopping, dining and more, without the need for a car.

What is TOT-TBID Dollars At Work?

A way for tourism revenue generated in North Lake Tahoe to be reinvested into the community with local decision-making.
