Join the District Advisory Committee

A new District Advisory Committee is forming under the North Tahoe Chamber to represent Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, and Carnelian Bay, continuing the work previously led by the North Tahoe Business Association. The committee will help guide priorities, including advocacy, business support and services, beautification, economic development, and events such as Music on the Beach and Community Clean-up days. Community members interested in serving on the volunteer District Advisory Committee can learn more and apply by contacting Adam Wilson at adam@northtahoecommunityalliance.com.

Community Clean Up Days
Saturday, June 7 & Saturday, September 27, 2025 | 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

North Lake Tahoe’s 30th annual Clean Up Days will take place on Saturday, June 7 AND Saturday, September 27, 9 am – 1 pm, RAIN OR SHINE in Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay and Crystal Bay. Over 100 volunteers will take to the streets to pick up trash. Last year, over 1,500 pounds of trash were collected.

Music on the Beach
Free Summer Concert Series | Fridays 6:00-8:30 p.m.
June 13 – August 29 (including Thursday, July 3)

Get ready to dance — Music on the Beach is back with a full lineup of live performances for our 19th annual summer concert series! Kick off your 2025 weekends with free live music featuring a wide range of genres, all set against the stunning backdrop of North Lake Tahoe. Concerts happen every Friday evening at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area, with music beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Kings Beach Day is Back!
Thursday, July 3 | 6:00-8:30 p.m.

July 3rd has become the unofficial Kings Beach Day — you asked for a celebration, and we’re making it happen! We’re coming together with our awesome community and summertime visitors for a beach party like no other. From 6:00-8:30 p.m., the shoreline transforms into a dance floor for a special Thursday night edition of Music on the Beach concert featuring local legends, The Blues Monsters. We’re kicking off the holiday weekend in true Kings Beach style — live music, lake views, and all the good vibes. Bring your chairs, your crew, and your best dance moves — this is a night you won’t want to miss!

Music on the Beach, Lights in the Sky!
Friday, August 29 | 6:00-9:30 p.m.

We are excited to announce that our 2025 Music on the Beach, Lights in the Sky event will take place on Friday, August 29, from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. Music will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the drone show will follow at 9:00 p.m. We are excited to have Jelly Bread as our band for the evening to close out our 19th annual Music on the Beach Series and Sky Elements Drone Company to light up our beautiful Lake Tahoe skies with 300 Drones!

Kerry Andras

Kerry is a dedicated community member and is passionate about Lake Tahoe, the snow, mountains, and especially the amazing people that live here. He has worked in a variety of fields, including as a substitute teacher for Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, an adventure guide for Tahoe Adventure Company, and a music teacher for Tahoe Truckee School of Music. Also an avid musician, he performs with several local bands, notably Sneaky Creatures.

Darcy Parrillo

Darcy was raised in the mountains of Colorado and has always been deeply connected and committed to the beauty surrounding her, including the amazing people and businesses at the foundation of a strong and healthy community. She is grateful to call the Lake Tahoe Basin home and raise her family in an incredible place. Before working with NTCA, Darcy’s professional experiences were focused on public health through a holistic lens. Throughout her career, Darcy worked with Kaiser Permanente, design research groups, and hunger relief efforts through Share Our Strength. She also has an independent business as a birth and postpartum Doula. In addition to her love for the mountains, Darcy has a lifelong passion for music and its innate ability to bring people together and into the present moment.

The banner stand at the roundabout on the corner of Raccoon Street and Highway 28 in Kings Beach serves as a marketing tool for public events within the Kings Beach District that benefit the North Tahoe community.

Streetlight Banner Program

Businesses and nonprofits are invited to promote local events through the Kings Beach Streetlight Banner Program—an affordable, high-visibility way to reach thousands. The Kings Beach District aims to rotate banner messages regularly to highlight Kings Beach as an active community and establish the banners as a go-to source for upcoming events along Highway 28, from Highway 267 to Chipmunk Street.
